We had such a great time with Lora and Aaron a few weekends ago for their engagement session. They are such a fun and photogenic couple that I literally could not take a bad shot!! I think the wedding will be awesome!

Amanda’s Trash the Dress

We had an AMAZING time at Amanda’s trash the dress session a few weeks ago! We photographed Amanda’s wedding back in 2008. She said her dress was taking up too much room in her closet and wanted to try a trash the dress session before she got rid of it. So we found an old warehouse and had some fun. Amanda was great. She brought all kinds of shoes and jewelry and we were able to use some of our fun head pieces that we got last year. Unfortunately it was too cold and windy to actual get any water shots. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to try it again once the wedding season dies down a bit!! Take a look at some of favorites from the session!

Ashley + Justin = Wedding!!

We had the chance to photograph the really fun wedding of Ashley and Justin in Forney! The ceremony took place at the Church of God and the reception at their house. We had a great time with everyone and came away with some awesome shots! Here a few highlights…

Sarah + Will = Wedding!!!!

We shot Sarah and Will’s wedding a few weeks ago at The Mansion at Turtle Creek. Both Sarah and Will and most of the family and friends traveled to Dallas for the wedding. The ice storm that hit earlier in the week made it very difficult for everyone to make it in town, but luckily only a handful of guests could not make it. Sarah’s aunt and her assistant Kevin did a wonderful job planning the event. We had a wonderful time meeting everyone and their hospitality. Shelley Binion and her staff did a remarkable job as always. Here are some of my favorites!!!!

Randy said the guys had a hard time putting on the ties. This is Will and his brother attempting to get the ties just right.

The bar area was extremely busy that day so Randy was only able to get a few shots of the guys. I wish we had more time, but I really like this shot!

Sarah’s zipper was stuck so it took several people to get the zipper working. Luckily they got the zipper working and nothing broke.

Sarah was so photogenic. She looks absolutely gorgeous!!!

The European Ensemble was a lot of fun. Half way through the reception, they changed into these outfits and played some fun upbeat music. You don’t see that with many quartets.

Omer + Anila = Wedding!

Omer and Anila was our first Indian/Pakistani couple. And although we did not photograph the actual ceremony, we were still introduced to their fun and amazing culture. We met up with them for formal shots and then the reception at The Mansion on Turtle Creek. Shelley Binion and her staff were amazing as always. Angie Williams did an amazing job with Anila’s hair and makeup. She does a lot of Indian weddings and helped me out with all of the lingo. I hope I got all the terminology right.

We had a great time and captured some really cool images! Here are just a few highlights…

Matt + Sarah Wedding!

Last week we had the chance to photograph Matt and Sarah’s GORGEOUS wedding at Royal Lane Baptist church in Dallas. The reception was held at one of our favorite places, the Old Red Courthouse. The wedding could not have been any more perfect. Sarah was beautiful and had everything scheduled perfectly. Becca and Crystal with A Stylish Soiree did an awesome job of making sure everything we smoothly! All of the vendors did an amazing job. I really had a ton of photos to choose from, but here are just a few of my faves…

I loved how the hung all the dresses on the stairs. Sarah had 10 attendants so I could not quite get them all in.

Alan + Andrea Engagement

After some much needed time off, we were quite busy last week. Alan and Andrea were in town for the holidays . Luckily the cold weather stayed away long enough for us to get some great shots outside. We had a great session and got some really fun shots. They were so sweet and we loved getting to know them. Here are a few of our favorite shots!

Matt + Sarah = Engaged!

We had a GREAT time photographing Matt and Sarah last week! We couldn’t ask for a better day! They are a ton of fun and we got some seriously cool shots!! I can’t wait for the wedding!! Here are a few of my favorites…

I love this shot. Very simple and beautiful!

Matt proposed to Sarah on a swing in this spot last June but unfortunately the swing has since been removed. So we had to improvise, but it was still fun.

This is my favorite shot of the day.

Both Randy and I love this suspension bridge. Just gorgeous!

Sarah’s mom really wanted us to stop by the Dr. Pepper bottling plant. We found this cool sign outside, so cool!

Ross + Brittany = Wedding!

A couple of weekends ago we photographed Ross and Brittany’s AMAZINGLY fun wedding!! These guys looked fabulous and as you will see, they are just a cute couple!! The wedding and reception was held at The Atriums in Park West. Despite the chilly and cloudy weather, the beautiful skylights provided us some great light. The deocr was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and we had a great time. It was a big party from the get go and everyone involved had a great time! The reception band was AWESOME and they truly had the place rocking all night! Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Here is Brittany getting into her dress. I loved how her mother commented on this being the birth of Brittany. If you have ever tried putting the wedding gown over your head, you will understand. It is always so much fun to watch though :)

I love this shot of Brittany and her mother giving the “We did it” high five. It was finally here and they were a great team!

Now that the wedding is over, I can blog some of Brittany’s bridal portraits. We had such an amazing time and I LOVE all the pics.

Chris + Cassie = Wedding!

We photographed Chris and Cassie’s GORGEOUS wedding at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas and the reception at the Radisson Hotel at Mockingbird Station. Despite the rainy weather everyone was in great spirits and looked AMAZING!! With this being the second wedding in 3 months for Cassie’s family (one of her sisters was married earlier this summer), they were seasoned pros. Everything ran smoothly and no one seemed the least bit stressed. We had a blast! Here are some of my favorites!

Since it was raining outside, Cassie had some cute pink umbrellas for the wedding party. I love the pic of Cassie surrounded by the pink umbrellas!

Randy was able to catch Chris and his guys playing a little poker before the wedding.
